Oyster Shell

In my oyster shell, no-one sees me, I’m holding all the pearls, hiding their beauty.

In my oyster shell the days swim by me, blurring all the years I won’t remember. My mood blinds me, thinking all my days away, there must be something happening outside.

I feel like I’m drowning here, I feel like I’m drowning here, I feel like I’m drowning, there’s no air left to come up for.

In my oyster shell, sleeping naked, mouthing all the words, no-one will hear them.

In my oyster shell, no-one sees me, I’m holding all the pearls, hiding their beauty.
